Prohibited List
The following countries and regions are restricted from accessing Binance Web3 API. IP checks are enforced on both the Developer Portal and the API server side.

Japan â Conditional Restriction
Japan is a conditionally restricted region. The restriction is lifted when all of the following conditions are met:
| Condition | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Authentication | User is authenticated via Binance account login |
| KYC | User's KYC country/region is not in the prohibited list above |
| Server Location | Server IP is located in Japan |
If any condition is not met, the Japan restriction applies. All other prohibited regions have no exemption â both client IP and server location are checked against the list above.
